Check out the cross reference manual oil filter section the local auto
store. You might have good results there.

They will have a cross reference for Yamaha OEM filters?

Ran into this problem at the dealer. Ended up using the previous years oil
filter. Part # 3FV-13440-10. On the bike for 1000km and no problems so far.
No choice really as this is all that's available in Canada for this bike.

If that's the filter you want to use the one for the Mazda Miata is
the same. I happen to like the Purolator PureOne PL14612
