Good point.

So now science is now political. I'm sure this will come as news to
motorcycle ENGINEERS who base their calculations on SCIENTIFIC
PRINCIPALS. Right angle schmite angle, I support the Constitution!

And yet you have no problem believing in the great father in the sky?

How's that cognitive disonance working for you?

Exactly. Very observant of you.I tell you what you can be spoon fed
what the UN is telling you and I will stick to my own routine. Those
ferriners always know what is best for Americans right?

Ferriners? I think you mean foreigners? Oh that was an insult. Have you
ever traveled outside the US or your own little part of America?

I'm pretty sure Americans don't know what is best for Americans, we elected
Bush twice!

At least I am not spoon fed bullshit from priests and preachers.

I've never met a Methodist preacher who spoon feeds anyone anything,
let alone bullshit. You do realize that faith is not something that
can be taught, not something that can be learned, not something that
can be proven, not something that can be forced on anyone for any
reason, don't you? That's why they call it faith.

Otoh, the statistics that some are convinced "prove" that humans are
both causing global warming AND that global warming is a disaster, are
subject to revision, subject to interpretation, subject to political
nudging, and certainly subject to misuse by U.N. (and other)
politicians who see them as a lever to use in prying more money loose
from the west to be thrown at the third world. Now, whether one
thinks this is a good idea or not is NOT the point. The point is that
such misuse of "scientific knowledge" has taken place, is taking
place, and will continue to take place. The U.N. is NOT an
uninvolved, neutral, bystander in the global climate political debate.
