howdy,
I have a 82xy650 in great condition. My brother has an 81 in rustbucket
condition. I really like the way mine looks and runs but I don't like its
sound. We both have the standard 4 into 2 mufflers but his both have a gaping
rust hole in each bottom. His bike rumbles and each time a cylinder fires it
sounds way more badass than mine. Are there any muffler options for a harley
poser like myself? Besides not being able to register the bike, and lose some
hp from inadequate back pressure, what else happens from holes in the muffler.
sorry my grammer is so bad, its late for me.
Also I have to change teh fork seal I think. How much give should the front
shocks have? And what about just adding more air to the air adjustable valve
on top? While I'm at it, how much give should the rear have? for instance, If
you weigh a 175 lbs, how far down should the rear go when you sit on it? And
I'm fairly sure the front needs a change because when you apply the front
brakes the front end lurches forward on the shocks. I can't imagine what would
happen on a emergency stop. Alright, sorry for going on. Thanks for any help
