I deliberately didn't say who sent it out and I'm not about to do so
now but if you suspect your son has been sending out material you
wouldn't want to receive then you need to explain that his only form
of entertainment from now on is masturbation.

Is the right answer. As the resident sociopath I, of course, don't see
the appeal of such sites. Judging from many ukrmers' comments neither do
they see a point to them.

There was an article I read that some scary proportion of recruitment /
HR departments regularly review all of these social networking sites to
cross check with job applications. I find that both rather stupid and
worrying all at the same time. Let's hope they don't bother to check
usenet!

I've never come across differential pricing like that in the UK. Sure
you can earn extra points for purchasing certain products but premium
prices for no loyalty cards - eek! A bloody dreadful idea. I suppose
this will be coming to a Wal^h^h^Asda near us sometime soon.

And I don't blame you. I certainly won't be shopping in any supermarket
that does that. However even if you don't have a loyalty card I'm still
convinced that they track you via your debit or credit card number if
you use that as the normal means of payment.

I'd have at least waited until they'd put the contents of the trolley
through the till.

It did indeed - whup his ass Wink

Also tell him to stop sending all the invitations and requests (assuming now
that it's him and not you, natch) - it's interrupting my conversations with
Miss Leopard, having to ignore them all.

A couple of years ago, Somerfields[1] were doing a lot of special offer
prices that were only available to cardholders. So, I'd nip up the town for
a bottle of peas or something, and it would be on a two-for-less offer. So
I'd grab two, take them to the checkout, and it would be full price because
I hadn't my card with me. "Oh right. I'll just have one, then." So they'd
have to get a supervisor to void the transaction, redo with one, and put the
other one back on the shelf. After a while, the checkout operators started
keeping a spare card on the till to swipe through. A little later, the
whole card thing faded away.

[1]Might have been Morrisons. The store was originally Safeway, became
Morrisons, got sold to Somerfields, and closed just before Xmas. It's
currently being converted to an Aldi...

Thats fair enough, but I had reason to beleive he had done it even
before I read this thread.
Your post merely confirmed my suspicion, along with some emails from a
few other people.
Needless to say the little wanker is confined to barracks until he gets
a sore nob.

Cash, see, that's yer answer.

Or are they going to phase that out too, one they've come for the

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the

Doesn't matter anyway; his bank would happily accept it.
