Archived from groups: can>rec>motorcycles (more info?)

I'm driving myself nuts trying to decide what to get for my next bike.
I sold my 750 Virago a few years ago and will be buying my next bike in
the spring of 04. I had my mind made up that a Vmax is exactly what I
wanted. Yup! that's what I'm getting..... Then a week or so ago, I got
looking at the 1200 Sportster. Yup! My minds made up, that's what I'm
getting. Wrong!!! Yesterday I got looking at the 2004 Yamaha Vstar
1100 Silverado, Special Edition. It comes with bags, back rest, studded
seat and windshield for a little over $13,000 Canadian. I sat on one
this morning at a dealership in Cambridge and fell in love. Of course,
I've done that before Smile..... I'll have another look at them on the
6th of December at the Toronto show. Geeezzz !!! I hope I don't change
my mind again, my heart can't take it.

Here is the URL to take you to the home page of the sportsmen's shows
and then click on the "Toronto Motorcycle Show". Keep your speakers on
for the sounds of a large V-twin.

Hi Mr Ed:
I too, change my mind weekly on what bike I would like....VSTAR, Harley and
I also really like the Suzuki Intruder VS1400GL / VS800....and I also like
the big dual purpose bikes (650cc and up) for some strange reason.....so I
know what you're talkiing about...

I'm currently riding a 82 CX500 Turbo (I'll probably just keep this one as a
collector bike...getting rare) and buy a newer one for daily riding.

You might even pick up a 1700 Roadstar for near that price at the bike show
