Which manufacturer made the battery?

AGM-type maintenance free batteries have plates that are wrapped in absorbent
fiberglass mat to keep the elctrolyte in close contact with the plates. So
they do not dehydrate as easily as flooded cell batteries.

I had excellent service from the Yuasa AGM maintenance free battery that was
instaled in my FZR1000. It lasted 8 years with occasional trickle charging
before it finally dehydrated.

At that point, the sides of plastic case began to bulge. But it gave me
plenty of warning, it took a year to completely die.
