The value of your bike depends as much on the mileage as the condition of
the bike, how its been maintained as well as your country and local demands.
If the bike shows obvious signs of having been dumped or rust, those will
affect the resale value also.
I would suggest you check out local bike shops and get a feel for what is
selling for how much, as a reflection of the demand. Local papers and Buy
and Sells will provide you with similar information.
I recently sold a cherry 97 1100 in Canada with 35K kms for $6,700 and the
buyer was glad to pay it. It had a mustang seat, progressive shocks, engine
guards, a windshield and bags. Around here (BC)people pickup nice Viragos
real quick. You hardly ever see one in the shops.
