Chris can also say more than "um" "ah" "and all that"
West sounds and talks like he's stoned not media savvy and despite being
a great talent when it comes to riding he comes across as a total dumbarse.

i ride a different brand but ease up on the guy.

i mean, ffs he was roped in mid-season. not a bike
to his absolute specifics (like vermulen - nice tyre
choice boys).

he inherited something that in reality was someone else's
bike.

and i presume you saw the race and actually -listened-
to what he described as the source of the mechanical
failure on the day? surely?

i'd be pissed off too and not wishing to give more than
grunts and yes/no's, in front of m' home crowd given the
result.

fool.

Back in 1999 I scored a seat driving a BMW Z3 for the riders parades
at PI.
Westy was my passenger in the 250 parade.
Even back then he was a grumpy uncommunicative bastard, and all the
years since he has not improved.
There is no doubt he can ride, but he should go get lessons on how to
present himself to the camera. It would improve his marketability
enormously.

Oh OK. If you insist. You have to deliver it though. I don't have a
bike at the moment, remember?

Bring cute girls with you.
