I am looking to buy a very necessary relocation kit and was wondering
if anyone had some insight on the 2 I've been looking at. The one I
really like is made by Phatperformance.com. Uses a Harley threaded
twist on filter and has no identifying markings. Just smooth chrome
and braided lines.
The other is made by Jardine. It is more expensive and I don't like
the name brand being printed into the chrome. It also comes with a
filter element housing to utilize the same element you would put in
the crankcase.
Any helpful input would be appreciated. Thanks

I have researched this issue extensively, and until there is absolute
proof that the engine will no suffer from oil starvation, I will take
the extra 15 minutes to take the exhaust apart. That being said, I
would have bought the Phat relo kit had I decided otherwise.

Because a) the lines are thicker, and b) it doesn't have a stupid
chrome cover to go over the filter like the Jardine does. Just buy
chrome Harley filters.

I installed the Phatperformance model. It was quite easy to install be sure
to tighten the lines to avoid leaks. It took about as much time as a oil
change. I too like it uses stock chrome harley filters.
