Thoughts on 97 Honda VFR 750 - Got this thing froma friend for $1500.00 runs like new, very well. Only needs the right side plastics as it went down at like 5 MPH no real damage just a little scrape on side plastic. Bike looks great, runs great, and is a blast Not as fast..

What he really needs is a girl-friendly *car*, something cute and non-
threatening, no macho Mustangs. He needs to buy something a girl would want,
and then let his dates drive it.

Right. When was the last time this tactic worked for you?

Personally, I wouldn't be interested in any girl who was attracted to "cute
and non-threatening". I'm not interested in becoming a sissy, so why would I
want a girl who wants one?

A girl who likes a nice muscle car... now that's a different story. And
maybe pickup trucks. If she could like football and baseball and motorcycle
racing, that would be cool too. It would be great if she liked riding
motorcycles, and would be fantastic if she had one of her own and could ride
worth a damn.

If only I could find a girl like that...

Yes, I'm gloating. Wink

Ahh yes. But those women are VERY few and far between.
My wife /is/ my best friend. We ride together, watch football together,
and do track days together. She is an enormous help when wrenching on
the cars and bikes as well. Life couldn't be better!!

Loves it! It took a bit of getting used to after 5 years of riding his
GS500, but he's very happy he upgraded.

Yeah, a few stick ups here and there and a My Little Pony on the back seat.

If he names the car "Suzy", and talks to it affectionately while his dates
are watching, he'll totally disarm their apprehensions about what he really
is after.
