Seems one of Haga's main challengers for the title, Toseland has been
let off the hook with the cancellation of race 2. He clearly was
struggling in the wet conditions in race 1, where Haga, Corser and
Bayliss were shining, but the weather has come to his rescue and let
him off with only losing 12 points to Haga.

I would be shocked if it was a homey call for Tosie, I mean they would never
do somethin' like that, would they? (Heh, maybe double points should have
been awarded for R1)

Thats not what I meant, I simply meant JT was fortunate the 2nd race
was cancelled as he would have probably lost more points to Haga and
Bayliss.

So, how wet did you get? Cold I bet too. On another note, the 500, about the
only 4 wheeled race I ever watch, is in the middle of a 4 hour rain delay,
oh well...

It's a Eurofag conspiracy, I tell you.

No really. All those midget Supersports riders moving up to WSB are
ruining the championship for everyone[1]. And now traction control is so
good they can ride those Superbikes like a Supersports bike.

[1] Like, err, Muggeridge. Oh. Right. Will he actually finish more than
50% of the races this season?

Paul, I understood where you were comin' from, but I thought my
facetiousness was apparent, sorry.. (hey, what can I say, the Indy rain-out
and no WSB on Speed made for a slow/long day)

I'm fairly sure the series organisers are not sat in the control tower
looking over the race director's shoulder.

If you had any understanding of the british character, you'd know that
even the possibility of a suspicion of underhand behaviour would be so
galling that the Silverstone officials would do everything to make
sure that Toseland had *extra* hoops to jump through.

Neal, I was bored and didn't want to mow the yard, so I made a sarcastic
retort and damn, I think I got a nibble..

Wait a friggin' second, the "British character?" Is that like not sending
the Prince to Iraq because threats were made against him? Hmm, I guess all
those other Limey's have been welcomed with open arms, huh?
Heh, heh, heh, I know a few Brit's and a couple of them are full on
character's too, but I never considered you for that somewhat elite group,
that is, until now...

I for one am tired of such facetious postings.
It's boring to have to skim-read them.

Bored? We can't have that, now can we? The absolute last thing anyone wants
is to bore some poor soul from NEW ZEALAND,(ba-a-a-a) after all, that would
be like carrying coals to NEWCASTLE, or for that matter, not carrying a
Prince to Iraq...

Well I know you are just trolling, and personally I would prefer it if
we got rid of the royal family (unfortunately I'm in a minority), but
the army were on a hiding to nothing on the prince thing. Protect him,
and people cry privilege, send him, and you have a prime target, and
the others in his unit suffer.

Anyway, WSB races have been cancelled before because of rain, once in
beautiful Australia, I recall (this is a troll).

Cheers,

Yes, I was just messin' around, right up till the character thing and the
high horse it sort of rode in on. Hopefully, Neal was just jerking my chain
back, or had a pint too many. As far as the royals go, I could care less,
though given there's already a heir and a spare it seems a bit of a slight
to those (targets)already in Iraq not to send the kid, but whatever, that's
your deal. As I'm sure you know, we've got more than enough(sh*t) on our
plate without worrying about anyone else's..
