I love your enthusiasim. I'd wish I would have renewed my insurance, but
that is my fault for going to college at age 27, gotta make some
sacrifices... it was a toss up between food for my family, or fun for me.

They almost starved, but then my wife punched me in the gut, and ripped the
check up.

Leamington, Ontario

ps. no snow here. yet.

My plate expired about 3 weeks ago. The snow arrived a week
later. Brrr... Saskatchewan is a lovely place to live.

Today the motorcycle and snowmobile swapped positions in the
garage, and the motorcycle battery was stored in the
basement. Apart from that, the bike was winterized on the
last weekend that the plate was valid.

Still need to spend some time wrenching on the sled in order
to get it into functional condition. Hopefully this winter,
I'll actually use it.

I really do not put my bikes [ motocross ] away until there is a half foot
of snow on the ground, you never know...
The forcast for this coming weekend is 15 Deg at the moment..[North Toronto
area ]
I sold my sled 3 years ago, when I realised I could jump it like the bikes
,it started to get expensive fixing the trailing arms [ 670mach ] all the
time.. they are not really meant for getting in the air.. but fun though..
Might be time for a new one.

GSX-R 750's don't like cold weather, much less snow and ice.
Engine makes lots of HP @ ~ 0°C, but Dunlop 207 ZR tires get
way too easy to spin (kinda fun) or lock up under braking
(scary) or even shutting the throttle in low gears (not
nearly so much fun).

Also, considering that it is tough to keep it under about
150 km/h under most circumstances, it also gets pretty
frigid.

Fired up the sled ('89 Mach 1) today after work. I figure
I'll wait until December 1st then plate it for a few months.
I've been having some big urges to start shopping for
something newer, but can't really justify the money given
the pathetic winters the last few years. I only bothered
going out once last year, and didn't even attempt it the
year before.

The money is probably better spent on a new R1 or something
similar in the spring.
