Springer Forks

I am making a old style Chopper from a 69 Bonny and would like to build
a Springer front forks for it or buy some I need a set of plans and a
idea of what kind of steel the forks are made from if anyone cn help it
would be greatly appreciated I am from Saskatoon

Why do you have to wreck nice old Brit bikes by turning them in to a
"chopper" They never look good, never get finished properly and handle
like sh*t.
