Hints and allusions to a ride that was supposed to happen last weekend
must have been nothing more than rumors..
According to the pre-ride expectations, there would have been a goodly
number of riders to participate in that run to Mena, Ark..
The entire tx.motorcycle newsgroup participants have been on edge all
week, waiting to hear the ride reports from anyone in that group who were
going to Mena.. Especially some kind of report from the "road boss", as
our friend in Texarkana calls him..
I urgently recommend a committee be called, to investigate this matter
and make a full report, immediately..

They just brag about rides on the net but the facts are that they only
hook up to clean their bikes and each other.
I bet Redshad only got 150 miles on his bike but had to repaint it twice
due to over washing and polishing.
BJay did invite them many times for hot links but they never showed.
All real riders loves hot links and will ride a few thousand miles for
free ones.
I am thinking that the only hot link Redshad wants is the one Louie got
in his pants... You know how those Goldwing owners are.. |

Sadly, it would seem that you are entirely correct..
FWIW.. it appears the last "real" ride these fellas made to Mena, Ark. was
the one which you and I were the key players..
Bjay must be given some degree of credit for the blazing success of that
ride .. After all.. he was there when the rains came .. tsk tsk..

I didnt invite anybody, anywhere. I made up all that jack. Me and Gert
put some chrome on the Mighty Valk, and rode all the way, I mean all
the way, without stopping,down to Jefferson. I was pretty tired, but
the Valk is pretty dang comfortable, since adding more chrome...to me
that is amazing.. I have to keep up with my Harley chroming friends
