Tank rust removal/sealing - Would someone please post the info about the liquid you use for this. Found an 82 CB900 with 14k for $2200. Very nice but rust in the tank. Runs well, but breaks up about 6/7k. Cleaning feul petcock every 3rd tank takes away the breking up,..

bolt removal - I have an 85 Harley FXEF that needs new fork seals. In order to remove the lower legs the socket head bolt on the bottom has to be removed: it's approx. 5/16 bolt (.31) with a 6 mm allen head (yes, metric on a Harley). Anyway, one came out..

Thanks for the input Guys. I Googled it as well, and seems my best bet is the hair dryer/Goo Gone combo. The tank is on the bike right now, as it is still being ridden. A full tank would be more safe than anything short of a dry one that has been well vented long enough for the fuel to flash off completely. A few gallons of gas will disapate the heat better. WD-40 melts right through gummy adhesive, great idea.
