I'm trying to find a downloadable user manual for the Yamaha QT 50cc moped
(1990).

How much oil goes in the gearbox? and what type of oil?

Most Yamahas have the tranny oil quantity stamped on the RH side cover,
and-or have a dip stick. The type ? - a good quality 30wt, 10w30, 10w40
motor oil will do fine.

Thanks Tom,
I just noticed only yesterday that the tranny oil quantity is stamped on the
RH side cover, and someone told me it would be 10w40.

I'm still looking for a downloadable user manual if you know where I might
find one.

Cheers,
Pipper.
