In typical 'It all goes wrong on sale day' fashion[1], I had a puncture
this morning. Luckily a mate owns a bike dealers and was able to sort
it quickly.

This was my very first puncture in 27 years on bikes, not a bad record.

[1] When selling the last 350LC I trapped my finger betwixt disc and
fork and lost a nail when loading it into the van. I walked into the
trailer and took a chunk out of my leg when selling the last ZZR1100,
and there have been a few other choice incidents.

On a luckier note, my *puncture* turned out to be a very short stubby nail
which didn't penetrate all the way through the tyre, so no repair needed.
Had it pulled out at the garage and they checked to make sure there wasn't
an air leak.

Lucky you. Mine was a huge nail that had about 1 1/2 inches of it
inside the tyre. Soon had it out and plugged though.

I wouldn't want to see what happens if you ever have to sell your body.

They'd provide added protection from scrapes and gashes.

When I did find them, a lot of the codes weren't listed. Perhaps
there's an updated list, or perhaps some codes are so secret that
they're not published anywhere...

Sorry, I'm bored and I've just watched one of the most boring films I
think I've ever rented, "Don't Look Now." Nearly two hours of my
life, stolen forever.

Right. Off to bed with a bottle of Jack Daniel's.

That part of my life's gone mate. Up until the ages of 25[1] I was
literally fighting 'em off, I was getting pissed off with it. It was
like "fuck off, you only want me for my body". Now they're either
married, got baggage or are lesbians.

[1] When I left the green, green grass of home, actually.
