Am I the only one getting sick of this being posted twice a day for the
past few weeks? This was posted something like six threads ago! Sure,
it's great, but I'm guessing all of you posters are discovering it here,
then posting it again, as if it's some fantastic discovery. We see it,
we get it, and yeah, she's amazing.

No you're not the only one getting a little sick of it.
Lynn's post was great, because even though it had been posted a while
ago, it had changed. The last two weeks however, it seems everyone is
"discovering" the site.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Pretty girl; ghost town ride |

I think it is one of those viruses that posts and e-mails links to
the site. It is also showing up repeatedly on a mailing list that
I receive.
Either that or a lot of people are posting it to lists that they
don't bother read.

Yeah, no shit. This week it was posted to an animation industry forum and an
animation tech mailing list.
I expect my 77 year old mom to "discover" it and mail me the link any day
now.

<sigh> Why does everyone assume the world utilizes the english language?
She's in another part of the world, different language, with a plate
reflecting the same. Again, covered in one of the previous posts but I
don't remember the details.
FWIW, that was my same thought when I first saw it, but then reconsidered
and thought 'duh'.

<sigh> Why does everyone assume that just because we rarely understand
other languages, those in other countries don't either. This girl
speaks English. KIA is a pretty widely understood acronym. I'd be
willing to test Elena's grasp of English against the average 'murkin's.
FWIW, I didn't even notice the licence plate, and it could means
something different. But it clearly doesn't *have* to, and it wasn't a
silly assumption.

IKWYM I had to send a note to my Stepdad's kids because I'll send
jokes to mom, then she sends them to his kids out of state, then they
send it to each other and cc all of us, then mom gets it again and
sends it back to me. Arggghhhh!

It is a strange license plate. I looked up the Russian alphabet and
there isn't any letter I. Could be K1A? Or its a vanity plate in
English? I don't see any email address on the site or else I'd ask
her.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Pretty girl; ghost town ride |

Actually, I wasn't. But from my POV it was an interesting observation. I
assumed she didn't even realize the implication of KIA in the english
language.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Pretty girl; ghost town ride |

I did a little research though. For MC plates over in the Ukraine, the
older plates actually had a 4 digit number (there is an I in the Russian
alphabet, their one is very distinct). It appears she 'wiped out" the
plate number. The KI in KIA stands for something. I think for a specific
region - being that she is from Kiev, I believe that is what the KI is
for, and the A I'm not sure, but, I think it has to do with the class of
the vehincle or something. So there are probably many plates that have
KIA on them.

Well, realizing that it may not be a complete plate(hidden numbers) KIA in
normal parlance means Killed In Action.
Where you are it's an annoying destructive endangered parrot.
