It so happens that I shall be in Birmingham with my gf on Valentines Day. We'll be staying at the Burlington Hotel on New Street - can anyone recommend a swanky restaurant within walking distance or short taxi ride from there? Indeed it was - great food & a good laugh. However we went there for our xmas do last month & it was a bit disappointing compared to previous visits. May have just been a blip though. It's in Brindley Place, just off Broad Street.
