Yes we are:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.adslguide.org.uk/newsarchive.asp?item=2114" target="_blank">http://www.adslguide.org.uk/newsarchive.asp?item=2114</a>

But I don't know when. It has been done to death on the adslguide forum
and apparently if you wait it will cost nothing but could take up to 6
months. If you go to MyPipex and pay the UKP 15 regrade fee you can
jump the queue, maybe.

I'm waiting to see what happens. The main thing is it's still uncapped!

*Much* better now than they were. There's a new one, in addition to the
binaries one and the text one, which gives so much (lots!) free d/l a month
then charges for extra.

Also, 1Mb is now the price of 512k (£23.44 a month) and existing 512k
customers are going to be upgraded free. Yayyy!

I've been using the text news server for a couple
of weeks, with no problems. The full server that
also supports binary groups used to be very slow,
but I have not used it for a year or so.

AFAICT Wanadoo won't upgrade me to 1 Mbps without a fee (£20 IIRC)
and there's no guarantee I won't be changed to a capped-usage package (I
was grandfathered in from Freeserve with no limit).

I don't know but I can't wait to find out

<Phones Pipex>
-------

It's a BT wholesale thing so all ISP's will be upgrading people although some will impose caps. I emailed Pipex about it and they
said it's up to BT as they are upgrading each exchange and haven't told pipex when they're doing which ones, but all should be done
in 6 months.
