I tried to motivate myself to use the bike for work this week, but I
really can't be arsed putting on leathers at 6.30 in the morning when I
have a nice comfy car with a radio and iPod on the drive.

<hangs head in shame>
Not ridden it since October, ffs.

Goretex + Bullet proofing is your friend.

Get dressed for work, put bullet-proof jacket on, shove waterproof
leggings over trousers, put on motorcycle boots. Put shoes in tank
bag. Insert iRiver (or iPod in your case) earphones into ears. Put
on helmet.

GO.

Works for me. Takes about 3 minutes.
