Spotted it while channel hoping

But cheers for the heads up. I just wish I'd seen part one

Parts 1 & 2 of both the drama and the documentary are available
on DVD:

Well it was bound to be really. It was also slightly
spoiled by the use of images from the drama - I really
wasn't interested in seeing fighter planes darting in
and out of the ash cloud, nor pickup trucks driving
away from the pyroclastic flow.

The whole 'supervolcano' thing was touched upon in Bryson's book 'A Short
History of Nearly Everything.' It doesn't sound like the sort of thing you
want happening in your life time; it might chafe slightly.

The documentary was infinitely superior to the drama.

It would suck, but then it's absolutely unavoidable, too, so why care?

Indeed; although you should be alright as long as you wear a good set of
leathers and a good lid.

Get Paul V to lobby for a pyroclastic flow resistance rating as part
of the CE mark.

Don't go for Alpinestars though; the last time I exposed them to an erupting
super-volcano, the stitching needed a fair amount of repair and the elbow on
one of the arms scuffed badly.

It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "platypus"
<monotreme DeleteThis @blueyonder.co.uk> saying something like:

 >BBC2 now - Yellowstone supervolcano thing.

I found it generally ok, but the fuck was beginning to get bugged out of
me by the cute little sqeaky sound effects every time they used some
graphic display unit.
