It seems to value the Thunderace higher than you do. I'm not saying
you're wrong, I LIKE your version of the prices Smile, as I'm looking to
buy anyway. Just wondered if you have access to an official book and
how close these prices may be to the direction a dealer maybe guided.

Not got a copy? I'll scan a few of the 60 pages if you say what ones
you think wiould be a good comparison. Or all of it if you want! Smile

Cheers.

Ooh, what value does it put on a 1997 P plate one in better than average
condition, FSH with 42K miles?

Advert in a recent MCN, for a 2002 model, private sale, *asking* price
4.5k, also a dealer ad offering a 97P for 3k and a 2000W for 4k,
suggests that Ride's prices are a bit on the high side.

That's more than I'd hope to actually get. I reckon anyone would have
trouble getting more than 2800 privately for one of that age/mileage.
It's pretty common knowledge that I didn't pay those sort of prices for
mine because it was crash damaged when I got it, but not any more Smile

 > Why, u selling? Wotchergonnget?

I'm not selling, I'm having too much fun with it. If it was to go then
it would be replaced by another one that's newer, or a ZX-9R.

Heh, kinda what I expected to hear really. But they must have gotten
them from somewhere, [1] so I wondered if they might have been from an
old black book or summat.

Acterualy, there's an ace in MCN thats in my phone code area, but I
can't call them 'cos I haven't sold the FJR. Sods law.

Always wanted to have a reason for a footnote, Bear style. [2]

[2]
Oh yeah, the footnote. "Christmas cracker, fortune cookie, paste your
witty idea here 'cos I can't think of one."
