I doubt it very much. Although I'm not 100% sure what materials are
used I would imagine the surface is treated with a coating which will
not react well to any abrasion.

S'wot I fort. Serves me right for putting it out of sight under the
seat, then forgetting and moving said seat right forward to get some
big furniture in the back. Not too bad, though, but just a constant
reminder.
