Man trying to flog an old CB400 Dream - item 140155069541 - and is
asking £1500 for openers.

"After this the bike returned to my home for another year or so before
I returned it to the Honda dealer again with a view to finding a buyer.
This would have been about 1997. Unfortunately while there were plenty
of people willing to give me a few hundred pounds to use it as a cheap
runaround, no serious offers were forthcoming. The bike remained stored
at the Honda dealer.

Last week I had the bike returned to me. The dealer has serviced it, and
MOT'd it again. For this a new battery, muffler and silencers were
required. (Total cost £400)Sadly the bike has aquired a dent in the tank
and a broken brake lever while in storage."

So nobody wanted to buy it then, and he's spent another £400 on it,
during which time the fuel tank has been dinged.....

You'd think he'd have worked it out himself by now.

"Power Performer. Comfort beater. Man's machine."

They don't write advertising copy like that any more.

It's actually quite clean. Interesting that the original 400 Dream only had
a single disc on the front.

Looking at the receipt he part exchanged an RD400 for the Dream. I bet
he is regretting that now.

Yes. One reason why they added the second was to make it seem that the
400 actually had 'more' than the 250 apart from bigger holes in the
cylinders.

LOL!

I didn't see that. Well, that proves he's a complete twonk.

I see nobody bought the thing, too.

Eeee... I had one of those, in that very colour. Twas a lovely machine
for what it was. Never let me down either.
Was a right pain in the arse to adjust the balance weight though. RHS
cover off job. On the later N they put it on the outside as it were.
