As per title. Dakota Hotel off J27 M1.

I had a rather pleasant lunch there Monday. It looked like it might be a
nice weekend retreat. All black marble and Industrial Chic. Has anyone
stayed there?

I used to work on the business park by J27, and there wasn't a hotel
there in those days. I'm guessing it's quite new?

Indeed. I think it's owned by Coultard.

Liquid business lunch was it? 'Cos if you rate that as pleasant then you
were either (a) pissed, or (b) severely lacking anything of real quality
to compare it with.

Alright, alright, you've travelled the world & know a thing or two about
cuisine, hotels etc. But so have I. that place is nowt' but a Mc Donalds
with real marble instead of formica. Shame really 'cos you were only 1/2
mile from the finest food you have ever tasted.

I've eaten in establishments the world over, Michelin stars coming out
of there arse's, but there's a little pub/restaurant not a million miles
from Hucknall that could put them all to shame.

Heh nice rant.
The linguine with Dungeness crab followed by a rather nice blue cheese was
*excellent* and not overpriced.
