I'd need to leave work early on Friday to give me enough time. Plus
I've no idea if the majority of TCR shops close at 5, 5.30 or when?

What's the attraction of the TCR shops anyway. They shite, overpriced, and
staffed by complete morons.

a band rehearsal that night so have to be back for the evening.

I've been here since 8:20, with only a short lunch, most of the rest
of the office have gone home already, and the only pressing bit of
work I have today is to write a desk-moves policy document :-/

heh. It has its moments. heading a joint IT/facilities policy action
group that gets to decide things like the breakpoint between intraday
equipment moves -v- doing them out-of-hours isn't one of them.

On a normal day i'd declare that pointless, but apparently I now have to
write a process document so that some numbskull in Bangalore can read
alerts from a console, and raise problem records for them. Apparently
they can't develop any processes for themselves... and once written it
apparently needs a risk assesment.

"Risk: If you don't do this I'm coming to find you..."

I probably don't need to say I'm glad it's Friday.
