Hi there, I own a Loncin lx125-5 2002 model motorcycle. I bought it still crated in late 2007. Its a twin with twin carbs and twin pipes, very nice looking. I put it together and it all seemed good, but now i'm having massive issues with it.

Initially i had to clean out one of the carbs because of residue from when they tested the engine (i think there is still some residue). Now i have a strange tapping that develops in the heads after i have ridden for a while. Theres a burn mark developing on the heads just above the spark plugs. The idle is completely out of wack and it wont stay regular. Sometimes the bike stays revving high or it just drops and cuts out.
I think the gearbox is a bit wacky as well. The "three page" manual says that it's supposed to be a 8.6 kw bike, but it seems much less, although i have never ridden a bike before this so i don't know.
Any kind words and advice would help immensley. I do need this bike to last me this year after that i will sell it and i'm leaving South Africa.
