Greetings all,

I was wondering if there is a conours new group out there somewhere?
I am considering buying a 1999 - 2002 Kawasaki Concourse. Hows the
ergonomic regarding the riding position? Long distance riding? Fuel
ecomony? Best type of tires to use? Is there any engine buzz? Are the
saddle bags effective?

Any info on the model from owners would be great.

Cruzin,
ZX750 Ninja

The engine in the Concourse leans more to the sports side and tends to be
buzzy at speed. This buzziness does creep into you butt and arms and ensures
that you get off long before the huge fuel tank goes empty.

Fuel economy, never ever given this one any consideration when buying a
bike.

The saddle bags are excellent.

Tires - I usually stick with Metzlers.

Other bikes to consider - Honda ST1100/1300, Yamaha FJR, BMW RT

re Yamaha FJR - never owned one but damn I like this bike and have heard
lots of good things about it. I am thinking ..... Smile
