As much as I love Kawasakis, I must tell you that the Police 1000 is a
piece of crap. Its frame in particular is the structural equivalent of
an ice sculpture. Snap! Crackle! Pop!

Several years ago, when I was riding solo bikes in Houston area, I was hit by
idiot cager and totaled my Harley. The insurance adjustor "talked" me into
replacing it with a Kawasaki. I kept the Kawasaki 3 months. I HATED it. It was
real fast but completely uncomfortable riding for long periods of time. I sold
it to another cop and bought a G/W and had it dressed out for polic solo
riding. Best thing I ever did.
