Hello

I am a resident of NJ 07045 and it is my 1st time purchase of this 10
year old Yamaha FZR 600. I need to get an insurance for the bike. Is it
better tp get a car insurance first and add motorcycle into the
insurance or should I just a motorcycle insurance. In the case of adding
motorcycle to the car insurance then I'd go get my own car
insurance(currently insured by my daddy) Please, advise is requested! I
need a all the help I can get!

most companies will rate motorcycle insurance outside of auto insurance altho
some companies will give you a 2nd vehicle discount most A rated companies
dont. Please note that depending on your age the insurance on a sport
bike(crotch rocket) can be many times more than a cruiser. For example at 18
on your fzr600 depending on the state your inurance for full covereage could be
as much as 2500-3000 a year where as a cruiser for the same age may only be
500-1000 dollars a year.
