Help! with turn signals on a 97 yzf600r

Well what i need help on is that when i bought this yzf600r from this guy, every time I turned the turn signals on they flashed like hazards which is not normal of course, but I thought it was because the front were not hooked up so i bought some led turn signals and installed them correctly. so I did, and installed them and they kept on flashing like hazards, I have checked the wiring on the rear and front wiring, checked the fuse for the turn signals, and checked the electric relay for dirt, shown wiring, or dirt around the wire, and there was nothing wrong with it, so I am needing some help with my turn signals, my guess is possibly the turn signal switch but I am not sure, so if you can help me. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
