I have front forks that I can't get apart to replace seal. The forks
don't match what a '74/'75 650 should have or at least according to
Clymer which I'm finding out is limited. I've tried to remove the lower
bolt but it's not letting the inside tube free. I've taken the springs
out and held the guts with a large flat head screwdriver ( there's a
flat slot inside) this still hasn't freed anything.
So if you have info on this please let me know.

Thanks to all who have read this

After removing the lower bolt which holds your damper, take off dust
caps at the fork joints (pry off carefully, a little at a time all
around), remove the large "c" clip (usually needlenose pliers will
suffice), hold outer tube firmly but not clamped tight (usually in a
vise but protect tube with heavy cloth, wood etc.), carefully use inner
fork as a slide hammer, everything should pop out.
