All -

I have a 1999 FZR600. I had back surgery and the bike sat for an
extended period (stupid me, didn't drain it - I was down a lot longer
than I expected to be). Even though I have dumped the fuel and run a
couple of fresh tanks, it is running very poorly at midrange RPMs. I
suspect that I need to rebuild the carbs. I've done this on other
bikes before, so I feel comfortable doing it, but are there any
gotchas I should know about this bike before I start?

Thanks,
Thomas
