Post subject: Fischer to build an American sportbike in August

Will we see this bike? It looks like it could be a reality. Too bad
they didn't keep the supercharger like the prototype. A 1000cc rotax
vtwin powered version could be waiting in the wings as well. For an
American bike it looks very Japanese. Too bad Fischer couldn't go out
on a limb and come up with original styling. It is too pointy for me.
The tank is ugly as well. This bike looks to be a $10,000 SV650 with
all the suspension and brake upgrades done already, with an aggressive
riding position, and riders can claim it as American made. That is a
large chunk of change for a 650. Oh well I hope Fischer can pull this
off and I wish them all the success in the world.

Looks more like an Aprilia to me with all those sharp edges everywhere.

The name sucks and the price is too high. If you're a fledgling moto
company and don't want to fold within the first year...

wings too, though additional FAA licensure is required.
