Anyone going to Brands on Sunday? - For the BSB. Only I've got a spare ticket I'll let go cheap. Like 15 quid (25 quid on the gate). You'll have to collect it tonight from me in SW London, or RV at Clacket Lane. For those who already have tickets - anyone going to be sitting round..

Wear the sandals on the bike and leave the Sidis at home.

Take *two* pairs of footwear on holiday?

Only a Safety Nazi would suggest anything other than just wear the
sandals.

Surely both problems could have been avoided by the simple expedient of
wearing a nice pair of woolly socks under the sandals?

Oh, I agree, but the pain outweighs the hassle of taking extra
footwear, IWHT.

In 1993 I went to Florida for a holiday to include Daytona Bike Week
and rented a Harley Sportster for a few days.
The day I picked it up I rode pretty much all day in glorious sunshine,
wearing an open face helmet & sunglasses.
I never thought about applying sun cream, so imagine my horror, on
looking at myself in the mirror later, prior to a night out trying to
pull some Spring Break girls, I had a very sunburnt face with white
stripes down the sides of my cheeks where the strap had gone.

There are *so* many problems with that solution I don't know where to
start.

I normally put the frame on the bike rack and the wheels in the boot.

Forgot to put the wheels in the boot.

I'll have you know that when I herded unix boxes I never wore sandals.
*And* I bathed regularly.

That sounds good.
