I was sent out to buy a suitcase last year (we already had several,
but no small ones since my "bag on wheels" self-destructed @ La
Defense Granda Arche RER station in August). I bought one the same
make and style as the larger Skyflight case we already have.

Her (indignant) response? "Why did you buy one that colour?"

Both new and older cases are dark grey.

yeah but starting at 11 means us leaving home at 9ish and out of bed
before then.

on a Sunday that aint gonna happen.

packing for three days work, three suits, shirts, spare tshirt,
knickers, sox, boots. about half an hour. I do the pile on the bed
thing though. its the chargers and other stuff that takes the time to
sort out.

heh. I have about 5-6 suits, and I don't tend to wear the same one all
week - usually one on Monday/Tuesday, a different one on Wed/Thu and
then (usually) smart-casual on Friday. Then a
different combination of 2 different suits the next week. In the
summer though, I quite often wear "jacket and jeans" a lot of the
time, which is a look that I imagine might make you scoff.

But if I were going away for a few days on business, I'd wear the same
suit the whole time, definitely.

actually, they're all fairly conservative. Two of them are even pin-
striped.
