Bought a 2004 in July and put 7000 km on it.
The bike is as smooth and quiet as a BMW, rides better, handles incredibly
well (confidence inspiring), the power is breath taking (30 km to 120 km in
second gear), and the brakes stop you on a dime. In can only describe the
experience as the closest you are going to get to flying a jet at VERY low
altitude. The only draw back is the heat on your legs, but it sure feels
good in the spring and fall.
The seating position is much more upright than most sport bikes and with the
current availability of numerous types of handlebar risers, its not
difficult to personalize the fit to yourself.
The luggage is extremely good quality and the bike looks great without it.
Overall, I would recommend it without reservation.
