Ok, so I got my exhaust sticker, and I shopped around for stamping.

Oh, and I gave up on getting it noise tested, 'cause the cost wasn't worth
it.

Couldn't find anywhere that would do it. Lots of machine shops had stamps,
but nothing like close to the size I wanted.

So I got it engraved, by some engraving dude at Parramatta Westfields (Mr
Minit). He did a VERY good job.

So, total cost to get "compliant".

$20 for the Can Kit
$30 for engraving.

1/4 of a fine, so I figure it's worth it.

mmm...

then the fine would be
Fraud: make/use false instrument
they will throw on the noise compliance thingy as well..

now from a ticket to a court appearance Smile

not that 98% of coppers actually know what noise limit's are... I doubt they
would even know about the sticker either...

then again the RTA shake and baker dudes know... there the ones you gota
watch out for...

Cheers
Nathan

They would have to know that I didn't get the noise test in the first place.
(In case there are any coppers reading, I really, actually did get it noise
tested.)

Nothing says that the sticker has to be up-to-date with the volume of noise.

I could easily put SS-wool in the cans, get it noise tested, and the SS-wool
would gradually get blown out, making it considerably louder than when
tested.

Why? The sticker was correct at time of making. Thatıs why anyone that
drools over the need for AS is a fool.

Its all about accreditation. If they cant test it, its too hard. Make them
do the work.
