Post subject: Last Call - Ride For Doug

Well,

This is last call folks. The inaugural world wide Ride For Doug is this
Sunday - July 15th. This is your chance to do something you love and
make a difference while you are doing it.

Basically - the rules are that you get on your bike, and you ride. You
ride a short distance, you ride a long distance. Take a lap around the
track if you're a racer. Get on your bike and Ride For Doug. Take a
picture or a video clip of your ride, and send it to me with your name,
information on your bike, and any message you want to send Doug.

Doug is my 4 year old son - and an avid fan of motorcycles. He has
Muscular Dystrophy. I'm organising this ride to raise awareness and
money for the cause. I frankly don't really care whether you give a
dime - I'm just hoping to show the little guy that bikers care - and as
tough as the road gets, the world is full of friends.

Details are at www.RideForDoug.com. (please contact me before coming
out for the local Langley ride - I'm pretty much at the limit of my
organizational skills)

So far I've got riders joining from 2 Canadian provinces, 3 US States,
New Zealand, and some central African country to be named later.
