Greetings:
Can anyone inform me if there is gas on CA-36 between Red Bluff and
US-101? It looks to be about 140 miles and that's pushing it on a tank
for me. The "towns" it passes through don't look like they have much
in the way of services. I'm planning on doing this ride this coming
Thursday (07/05), so any quick advice or info would be greatly
appreciated.
TIA! >> Stay informed about: CA-36 and gas stations? |

Thanks, Jim. But I'm concerned about the "no guns" sign. I'm hoping
they mean hunting rifles, 'cause I'm not about to leave my handgun in
my saddlebags outside ;~O
By the way, where is that store, anyway? >> Stay informed about: CA-36 and gas stations? |

It's about 70 miles west of Red Bluff or at:

Concealed-carry permit is worthless. By the time you get your Aerostich
unzipped and have brought your weapon to bear, your target will have
either run you off the road or taken the exit. A visible holster (with
the weapon properly secured) is probably a better deterrent.
