From the VRRA.ca website...

Bill Sharpless age 73, passed away peacefully, at his home last
weekend. To those of us who knew him, Bill was one of the finest
racers in all of Canada, and will forever be remembered as a fierce
competitor in all disciplines of motorcycle competition. In
recognition of his achievements, he was inducted into the Canadian
Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2002.

Bill is survived by his 3 children - Toni, Todd and Blair, his mother
Jean, and his sister Linda.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 17th, between
1-4 PM at:
The Royal Canadian Legion
1083 Pape Ave.
Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Motorcycle
Hall of Fame at:
2100 Bloor Street West, Suite 6-126
Toronto, ON

I am real sorry to read about Bill. I worked for him on and off as a freelance by building-up Brit bikes he had purchased.
