| I am very, very new to bikes so my knowledge of them mostly comes from, Wow look at that it looks cool. Anyways I was hoping someone could give me some sites that can tell me everything I want to know about bikes. Right now I am looking for sites that teach me what the parts are and what they do, basically the technical aspects of a motorcycle. So if anyone can help me I would appreciate it very much.

Some of us knoes everything but there's
a whole bunch of idiots who don't agree with
us and refuse to admit they're wrong.
Also, to work on your bike, you will need
at least one tool. This one really isn't intended
for use on motorcycles, so it's an excellent
first tool.

You found usenet, I think you can find GOOGLE or WIKIPEDIA.
But here is a quick lesson (assuming you mean motorsickles and not
bicycles):
They have 2 wheels and an engine (bicycles have pedals) and go VROOOOM
(bicycles don't).
Teh wimmens like 'em.
Go buy one (a motorsickle) so we can make fun of your choice. Hell, buy a
bicycle and we can make fun of it. >> Stay informed about: New to Bikes |

Did you know that Sheldon died a few months ago? Very sad in the bicycle

There's this Timberwoof guy who keeps a FAQ. You should ask him for the
URL.

Learn how to drive a manual transmission (if you don't already), then take
the MSF course.
Put-putting around on 250cc bikes for a couple days will teach you a bit. >> Stay informed about: New to Bikes |

RIP. He was a national treasure.

Bicycles do too go VROOOOM, when you use a wooden clothes peg to clamp
a playing card to a fork so it flaps in the spokes.

This is a good place to start. Your first question should be what kind of
