Well, we have a new baby boy, Malcolm Xavier Soto. He was born (with
much effort on mama's part) at 16:25 Wednesday, 8/27 (happens to be my
oldest brother's birthday, too). Was 6 lbs. 9 ounces and 19" long.
He's doing well. So's mom, but she's tired as hell. Good thing
Grandmoms are both helping out, cuz if it were up to us men, our species
would have died out way before the woolly elephants...
Anyway, I'll be busy performing my evolved
hunter-gatherer-killer-of-crawly-thing duties, so not much time for
online stuff (at least until mom figures out I'm back on the 'puter)...
Charles

Well congratulations Charles (and Mom and Malcolm of course).
If you start saving now, he can have one of those Honda JR50's for his
4th birthday and you can get a new dirt bike to ride with him.

That's wonderful news, Charles! Congratulations to you and Momma from me
and Joe.  )
Please posts pics of your new son as soon as you can. I'd love to see them.
I bet he's as cute as you are. <G> Joe said he needs a "boonie" cap and a
t-shirt that reads, "Don't drink pee." LOL

congratulations, charles
since this is your first, here's some advice :
let me assure you that nothing in your life will change;
you will still have plenty of free time to do what you want, whenever
you feel like it;
now that the baby is here, your expenses will drop to less than before;
sleeping late will be the norm for you and mom, as will partying late
into the wee hours;
your home will smell clean and fresh, always;
traveling and going out for dinner will be easier than ever;
and remember, babies can always tell you exactly what is bothering them
to make them yell so loudly. <VBG>
they grow up fast, cherish the time you have

Congratulations!
When our first was born, we were given a "Native Texan" birth
certificate. They have long since stopped giving them away free, but you
can get one here...

Actually, the birth certificate came with a "congratulations on the
birth of your little Texan." Kind of silly, but par for the course
around these parts...
