Nice cup of tea for me, please. I've just given up alcohol for the fifth
or sixth time this year.

I've managed 8 weeks. All this lime and soda I've been drinking instead
means I probably have the cleanest kidneys in Christendom.

Being the week-willed, borderline alkie that I am, I rarely manage more
than a couple of weeks. But this time I'm aiming big; I will drink no
more alcohol in 2005 (which, by coincidence, will be 8 weeks too).

If I actually manage that, it will be a minor miracle though.

Nearly.
