Post subject: Amazon.ca best price for Haynes manuals etc
Archived from groups: alt>motorcycles>yamaha (more info?)

Hello All

I recently phoned my local Yamaha dealer enquiring about the Haynes service
and repair manual for Yamaha Virago XV V-Twins 1981 - 1996, they quoted me
a cost of about $48 Cdn. plus GST.

I checked out Amazon.ca and the price of the same book was $26.16 and if I
bough a minimum order of $40 free shipping and handling was included. So I
also bought "Twist Of The Wrist - Vol 2" for $22.12.

The books were shipped the next day as notified by email and arrived in my
snail mail box in about 4 business days. The grand total for both books
including GST $51.66 the same price of just one book from my local rip-off
Yamaha dealer.

Both books are exellent and highly recommended.

cheers

neil
