On an 02 aerox, when you turn on the ignition, should the oil warning
light be illuminated? On mine it is, however I am not getting any
response from pushing the starter button and there is no spark on the
plug when kicking the engine over. There is plenty of oil on the tank,
however i am i bit suspicious of a problem with the oil pump.

Any advice apperciated.
Matt.

Is it in gear when trying to start it? If so, try putting it in neutral.
My XJ lights the low oil lamp when I have it in gear, and try to start the
bike... Gotta be out of gear.

G'Luck!
