Going to Melbourne from Sydney and back next week or so, any advice on
interesting routes appreciated.
Happy to do 2 overnight stops enroute.
Depending on route could take ST1100, SP3, or DR650.

Take Highway 1 along the coast instead of the Hume. It's about 200k's longer, but should prove a far more interesting ride. Or, head down the Hume to Goulburn, from there head to Tarago, Bungendore, Canberra, Cooma, Nimmitabel, Bombala, Cann River then head west to Melb.
