Going to Melbourne from Sydney and back next week or so, any advice on
interesting routes appreciated.
Happy to do 2 overnight stops enroute.
Depending on route could take ST1100, SP3, or DR650.
TIA
Cheers.

Take Highway 1 along the coast instead of the Hume. It's about 200k's
longer, but should prove a far more interesting ride.

Or, head down the Hume to Goulburn, from there head to Tarago,
Bungendore, Canberra, Cooma, Nimmitabel, Bombala, Cann River then head
west to Melb. I've been from Canberra to Melb a number of times this
way and love it, it's a great route.

That was a pretty fun days ride...

big (I was going the other direction, but the advice translates fine...)
