Hi everyone,

Does any one know when CA DMV is going to start re-issuing the "Access
OK' permits to Hybrid vehicles?

Thanks.

Hopefully never.
No offense, but I'm sick of those silly things clogging up the lane
with only on passenger in 'em.
I'm tempted to start *removing* them from car bumpers!

They've issued all 85,000 and there won't be any more.

This has exactly *what* to do with motorcycles? Do these hybrids have
two wheels and lane share?

How are they being stolen? Are they easy to steal?

I know the reg. stickers on my dirt bike aren't re-usable after you
pull 'em off because they're designed to leave some of the print
behind, exposing the word "void" in dozens of places on the sticker.

Do they not do that with these "Access OK" stickers?

These stickers don't look like they've been used. Still on the
original backing paper, looks like.

Yeah, I figgerd those eBay stickers were new, but was wondering how
(or if) someone is actually stealing stickers off of those silly
lookin' cars?!?!?!

Aha! That's what I was thinking when I tried to 'splain in my earlier
post! They *are* like the off-road reg. stickers on my dirtbike
then...

When I had to replace the forks on my son's dirt bike, I tried
everything to save that sticker, but it wouldn't come off without
leaving "void" everywhere on it. Hadda get a new one...

What he said. I used a hairdryer recently, to remove some horrible
reflective yellow strips from the flanks of a bike.

Why don't the thieves just don't get a good close-up digital picture and
then print off their own strickers?

They have a sort of hologram in them. You can see it, kind of, in the
pics of the one on EBay.

Doesn't work on the CA DMV off-road stickers at all though. Pretty
good design, actually.

Ah, right. Thought it sounded too easy!
