Hi all,

I'm a proud new owner of a '99 V Star 1100 Custom. Got 8500 miles on
it, 500 of which are mine. So far so good - I love it and having lots
of fun riding it. Just wondering, what's the word about general
reliability of 1100 V Stars? Anything in particular I need to watch
out for or pay attention to as time goes on? Thanks.

It has the same engine as the Virago 1100, which has been around for
years, and is a very solid engine.

Whoops, our friend's 1100 with 35K just lost the clutch on a ride today and
we sent the rest of the day retrieving it. First problem he's had with it.
